Invite me in
Signing in means exactly one thing: I get to know your e-mail address. That's all I want, and that's all that happens.
It then sits on my own server. I don't pass it on, don't sell it, don't add you to any newsletter. Nothing lands in your inbox unless you ask for it.
Why I want to know at all: some of what I write here is fairly personal, and I'd rather not have it loose on the internet. When I know who's reading, I can be more open.
